Bar Staff

Duties:

1. To serve alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages to Club members, guests and visitors.
To deal with all Club members, guests, visitors and staff in a polite and friendly manner.
To have a comprehensive knowledge of cash, card, member card and cheque transactions, processing them all accurately.
To have a good knowledge of all till operations and be able to cash up as required.
To serve bar snacks and hot drinks.
To ensure the bar area is kept clean, tidy and hygienic at all times.
As required, to be responsible for 'end of day' cleaning of the bar area.
To clear tables promptly and efficiently.
Advise your manager of any issues, including breakdowns, stock shortages or customer queries.
As required, to assist in the kitchen preparing rolls, sandwiches etc.
As required, to assist with all other kitchen duties, including cleaning.
If not already in possession of a Food Hygiene Certificate, to work towards achieving one.
To be prepared to carry out any reasonable request made of you to further the wellbeing of the Club.
Ensure compliance with all alcohol service regulations and laws
Monitor customer behavior and address any issues or concerns

Experience:

Previous experience working in a bar or similar hospitality environment is preferred
Knowledge of different types of alcoholic beverages and their preparation methods
Strong customer service skills and ability to interact with a diverse clientele
Ability to multitask and work in a fastpaced environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Basic math skills for handling cash transactions
