  • Job Description 1The BCH Firearms & Explosives Licensing Team have a fulltime vacancy as Proactive Firearms Enquiry Officer.
The post holder will be working alongside 4 other PAFEO's and will report directly to the Intel Decision Maker.

The post is based at the department's central hub in Monks Wood, Cambridgeshire. The role is fixed office working, so the ability to travel to and work from Monks Wood is essential.

In addition to this, visits and inspections of certificate holders, dealers and clubs also forms part of the role according to demand, and so the ability to travel to various locations across BCH is also essential.


We are looking for individuals who are self-motivated with a proven track record of risk-based decision-making and have the ability to work under their own initiative as part of a team, experience in intelligence methods, interrogation of police information systems interviewing, and statement taking would be a distinct advantage.
