Data Engineering Manager - Azure Databricks - London - £80K plus bonus


Looking for a Data Engineering Manager to oversee a strong team of 4 as well as work with the Head of Data to drive the data strategy of the business.

My client sit within the transportation industry and are looking to really get the most from their data.

They are looking for someone with core skills in Databricks, Python/PySpark, Azure who has managed and led a team through multiple projects.

You will have the full support of your boss and team, work with the very latest tech and genuinely do something incredible within an enterprise business.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a strong team of 4 Data Engineers.
  • Work closely with the Head of Data to hep shape the data strategy of the business.
  • Be the technical expert with the latest technologies. Make recommendations to the wider business as to how to keep up to date with the best data solutions.
Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience leading a team of data engineers/data analysts etc
  • Strong experience and capability in Azure (Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks).
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies including use of Git
  • Experience with Python and Spark

Benefits:

- £70,000 - £80,000
