We are currently recruiting an Engineering Sales Trainee to join our busy team in Nottingham.

If you are interested in Engineering and learning about the products that keep industry turning this could be the career for you.

The job is ideally suited to a school leaver or someone who wants a change of career.

The job role will provide full vocational training with no formal qualifications, but excellent opportunities for progression as you fully develop your career.

No experience is required, however the role requires a competence in written and spoken English as well as Mathematics.

  • Learning about Engineering products such as Bearings, Belts Drives, Chain Drives, Couplings, Motors and Gearboxes
  • Learning sales and purchasing techniques to achieve value for our customers and profitability for the company.
  • Answering calls to customers to take enquiries and orders.
  • Preparing Sales quotations.
  • Dealing with customers face to face on our trade counter.

Qualifications:


  • GCSE in English Language and Mathematics (A*C/94) or equivalent literacy and numeracy qualifications.

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
From £16,000.00 per year
