_Main duties of the post_

  • The Business Development Manager
  • Onboard & International role is responsible for the_
- management and development of my client's onboard and international client base and related_
- operations; centered around the promotion and delivery of training, competence and other_
- learning and development solutions via the company._

  • The role has a strong emphasis on new and existing business development; targeting growth from_
- their current client base and the identification of new opportunities, predominantly focused on_
- domestic and global oil and gas producing regions._
- training, competence and/or health and safety role. Knowledge of international training standards_
- and the offshore drilling sector as whole is desirable._

  • You will work within a UKbased team (role is Aberdeenbased with some of the sales team based_
- in Newcastle) as well as regular collaboration with other businesses withing the group, located_
- globally. Domestic and international travel will form part of the role where required._


_Responsibilities_
- _Development & Management of new business leads and existing client base undertaken via:_
- _Ownership of onboard sales budget_
- _Management of existing onboard and international client base_
- _Identifications of new business opportunities_
- _Identification and development of new target regions_
- _Development of project-based solutions to support client training and competence_
- _Promotion of technology-backed solutions via Group companies_
- _Cross sell opportunities across the Group_
- _Coordination of course booking for instructor mobilisations_
- _Close relationship with operations, logistics and planning teams_


_Key Performance Indicators_
- _Achievement of monthly, quarterly and annual revenue targets_
- _New opportunity creation_
- _Instructor 'days' sold per month_
- _Management of sales>billing process_
- _Upkeep of CRM and other related systems to support Onboard and International division_


_Other Requirements_
- _Confident negotiator with strong closing skills_
- _Strong client / account management skills_
- _Strong communication skills_
- _Excellent organisational and time management skills_
- _A positive attitude to dealing with people_
- _Capable of hands on problem-solving, with ability to generate ideas and solutions_
