Business Administration Apprenticeship - Oasis Academy Immingham


An exciting opportunity to join Oasis Academy Immingham and work in the school office providing a reception service and administrative support.

To provide a welcoming, encouraging service for children, parents/ carers and a range of professionals.


Apprenticeship summary

  • Wage: £5 per hour
  • Monday to Friday (shifts to be confirmed)
  • Total hours per week: 37 hours a week
  • Expected duration: 15 Months

What will the apprentice be doing?

  • To work closely with and provide admin support to the Learning & Development Manager and the wider Learning & Development team.
  • To research and book overnight accommodation & travel which has the best value for money for the L&D team and National Director as required.
  • To provide support to be able to respond rapidly when diary dates change i.e., rebook travel, accommodation, and meeting rooms accordingly.
  • To keep up to date with team availability each term and update team calendars accordingly.
  • To provide support to create, collate and distribute staff and survey results as required.
  • To assist in booking conference facilities, catering and making arrangements for external guests for meetings and events where required.
  • To assist in creating meeting packs for colleagues and include relevant information and documentation they require on a daytoday basis.
  • To provide support to manage the administration of colleagues' expense submissions, including mileage claims, accommodation and other travelassociated costs.
  • To raise and record purchase orders and assist to process and coordinate invoice administration.
  • To check invoicing against bookings and the OCL Expenses Policy and raise any issues if there is a mismatch.
  • To assist in forming and maintaining effective and efficient filing structures.
  • To support the ongoing file management and maintenance of SharePoint sites as required.
