Our people are at the heart of the Zurich business and the People Hub is the lynchpin of the Zurich UK People Team, it is the 'route in' for our colleagues when they need us, focusing on delivering exceptional customer service.

The People Hub consists of a team of highly skilled HR generalists, supporting senior leaders and their teams to deliver on our business strategy.

As a People Hub Business Partner you will be responsible for partnering with managers and senior leaders across a range of projects, enabling delivery of our business priorities and providing expert HR advice to reach the right outcome.

  • Use your HR experience and employment law knowledge to coach and advise managers on key HR topics including organisation design, cultural change and engagement, consultation, TUPE and employee relations.
  • Be accountable for leading the people elements of projects, working with colleagues both in the People Team and across the business to enable successful project delivery and the post delivery evaluation of projects.
  • Demonstrate that you can coach business leaders to lead either through change or to resolve complex employee cases, with a focus on balancing both colleague engagement as well as commercial priorities.
  • Be skilled at juggling competing priorities and able to work at pace, adapting to changing circumstances.
  • Collaborate with your Hub managers and colleagues and the wider people team to ensure there is a joined up approach and a seamless service to our customers.
  • Review People Analytics alongside qualitative insights from working alongside the business to inform your decision making and 'join the dots' in understanding people issues.
  • Attend business meetings where required, making decisions, representing the People Hub and the People Team.
  • Take a risk based approach to managing your projects, advising business leaders on risks, dependencies and issues through the lifecycle of the project and taking the initiative to make changes to mitigate the impact of these.
  • Demonstrate a team ethos across the Hub and People Team.

What are we looking for?

  • You will be an experienced HR professional, ideally CIPD qualified, although not essential
