General Duties:

Managing and logging requests from multiple sites using Excel to coordinate and schedule deliveries & collections.
Managing the drivers and their routes.
Supervision of the drivers to ensure that vehicles are maintained to a high standard.
Assist drivers with loading and unloading of vehicles.
Problem solve and/or research solutions to challenges.
Quality control of incoming/outgoing equipment and materials.
Ensuring that equipment and materials are stored and kept in a tidy, safe, secure environment on a "last in, last out" basis (this can entail cleaning tools when they return from site, before storing).
Logging materials sent to site from the company's stock and producing a corresponding invoice.
Stock control.
Occasional driving of vehicles upto 3.5 ton, to cover existing drivers.

Skills/Experience:

Clean UK/EU Driving Licence (Essential)
Word, Outlook & Excel (Essential)
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to multitask
Ability to work under pressure
1 year logistics experience (preferred)
1 year of warehouse experience (preferred)
Knowledge of South West London (preferred)
Knowledge of the construction industry (preferred)

Location:
South West London

Rate of Pay:
£23,000 per annum

Job Type:
Full-time, Permanent

Working Hours: 8am - 5pm (may vary)

Start Date:
Immediate, with long term prospects and room to progress.

£23,000.00 per year
