We are supporting a growing HR Consultancy, small enough to care and with big ambitions to be at the forefront of HR excellence across the Rossendale and the North West areas.

The role is to provide high-quality ER consultancy advice and solution focused support to SME sector clients including grievance, disciplinary, capability, sickness absence, special leave, harassment, restructures, redundancies, performance management, appraisal,disputes, TUPE, flexible working and negotiating settlement agreements and exit strategies matters.

You will also support with recruitment campaigns.


Salary:
£35,000 - £38,000 per annum


About You:

  • CIPD qualified or equivalent with a minimum of 3 years, hands on HR experience
  • Have strong Employee Relations (ER) experience to efficiently resolve complex casework in line with best practice.
  • Have the ability to effectively lead on consultations.
  • Have the ability to collaborate and influence outcomes for business leaders.
  • Provide excellent client services.
  • Have passion for what you do and what you want to achieve.
  • To work as part of a responsive and professional HR Consultancy team
  • To provide HR Consultancy support to ensure added value HRrelated project(s) and training are delivered in line with the client requirements and service specification.
  • To undertake some business development support to enable the progressive development of the Company in line with its values, priorities and high professional standards.

Responsibilities:


  • To ensure compliance with employment law, Acas code of practice, local policies and procedures, national and local terms and conditions, professional standards, best practice, and other regulatory practices.
  • To consult with employee representatives on behalf of our clients such as settlement agreements, proposed changes to terms and conditions, HR policies and procedures, disputes and changes to contracts of employment.
  • To provide HR technical support and workplace investigations.
  • To protect the interests of the Client in line with Company HR policies, governance Handbook and competency frameworks.
  • To draft, critique and research best practice and update employee handbooks.
  • To support positive culture change for the client through your influence and HR expertise.
  • To work effectively with inhouse HR support teams, bringing your HR knowhow to a variety of challenges whilst working collaboratively to ensure ER effective casework solutions and outcomes.
  • To support the development of leaders, managers and inhouse HR professionals to enhance their practice, knowledge and confidence to deal with leadership and HR issues to develop high performance and compliance.
Key experience;

  • Experience at working at senior level to advise and guide and influence senior management up to and including Director level on complex change management and organisational restructuring projects
  • Professional degree or diploma in relevant field or equivalent qualification / strategic experience
  • CIPD Qualification / Chartered CIPD Membership or qualifying experience
