Description
Sixteen3, manufacture high quality commercial soft seating and ancillary products, operating from a single site in Warrington, Cheshire.

The company's' recent and future expansion plans have resulted in the need to recruit an experienced Production Planner from a similar industry.


The main purpose of this role is to support the Production Manager in overseeing the day to day running of the production facility and ensure materials are ordered in a timely manner to enable the execution of the production plans and successful delivery to our customers.

We are looking for someone who will be flexible in approach with the ability to prioritise a demanding and changing workload.


Key responsibilities:


Support the Production Manager in the management of the production environment in line with current SHEQ standards, ensuring the production of quality components, assembly, and finished goods in time to meet customer demand.


  • Coordinate production workflow for one or multiple products
  • Plan and prioritise operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay
  • Determine manpower, equipment and raw materials needed to cover production demand
  • Assign workers and other staff to particular production operations
  • Schedule shift according to production needs
  • Monitor jobs to ensure they will finish on time and within budget
  • Address issues when they arise aiming for minimum disruption
  • Obtain output information (number of finished products, percentage of defectives etc.)
  • Prepare and submit status and performance reports
  • Keep paperwork organized
  • Collaborate with quality control, warehouse and other staff

Requirements:


  • 2 years of experience in an upholstery or similar environment
  • Experience of working with ERP/MRP systems
  • Good Excel skills
  • Strong organisational & communication skills
  • Confident in analysing data and producing reports

Other

  • Shop floor working hours are Monday to Thursday 7.30am to 4pm, Friday 7am to 2.15pm
  • Salary negotiable dependant on experience
