Petroassist UK Ltd is part of the Petrotec Group of Companies.We are a nationwide sales, service and installation business, selling and maintaining a range of forecourt equipment including Pumps, Payment Terminals, Tank Gauges and other ancillary equipment.
The Systems Administrator will be responsible for managing and maintaining the organization's IT infrastructure, including M365, VMware, network functions DHCP and DNS, and other related systems.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Management:
The Systems Administrator will be responsible for the technical management of the organization's computer systems, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of software and hardware.
Data Security:
The Systems Administrator will be responsible for ensuring the security of the organization's computer systems, including implementing security policies, monitoring for threats, and managing access controls.
Analysis:
The Systems Administrator will be responsible for analyzing the organization's computer systems to identify areas for improvement and implementing changes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Plan, Organize, Control:
The Systems Administrator will be responsible for planning, organizing, and controlling the organization's computer systems to ensure that they meet the needs of the organization.
Audit:
The Systems Administrator will be responsible for conducting audits of the organization's computer systems to ensure that they are operating efficiently and effectively.
Asset Preservation:
The Systems Administrator will be responsible for preserving the organization's assets by ensuring that the computer systems are maintained in good working condition.
Qualification Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
3+ years of experience in systems administration, with working knowledge of M365, VMware, and network functions DHCP and DNS.
Strong technical skills in data security, analysis, plan, organize, control, audit, and asset preservation.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Industry certifications such as MCSE, VCP, CCNA, and CISSP are a plus.
