Associate Director Building ControlResponsibilities:
- Deputise for Director, assisting in the day to day operation of building control.
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve department goals and objectives
- Lead and supervise a team of employees, providing guidance and support
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient and effective workflow
- Monitor and evaluate department performance, making necessary adjustments as needed
- Contribute to tender bids and fee quotes, as required
- Authorised signatory
- Prepare and present reports to senior management on department activities and progress
- Technical Audits as part of Audit programme
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to drive innovation and improvement
Skills:
- Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong problemsolving skills with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions
- Proven track record of successfully managing projects and meeting deadlines
- Ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners
1. Professionally qualified - minimum Member of RICS, CABE or equivalent.
2. Minimum of 10 years practical experience
3. Comprehensive knowledge of legislation, guidance and standards relevant to building control
A proven track record within the commercial environment.
Salary:
£60,000.00-£100,000.00 per year
