Multi-Skilled Elec Bias Maintenance Engineer
(Day shifts, 8.5 hours, 4 on 2 off)
London's West End
£50k per annum, plus bonus', overtime & package
I am currently recruiting a Multi Skilled (M&E) Maintenance Technician to join our client, a leading and established Building Services and Facilities Management specialist, to work in a prestigious high-end mixed-use development contract at in London'sWest End, this would suit an established and highly competent Mechanical & Electrical Engineer with in depth HVAC and plant knowledge and high standards.
You will be required to provide an exceptional high standard of building services provision (planned and reactive) within a high end commercial/ residential occupied environment and with the utmost regard for customer service.
The Multi Skilled Engineer will have experience of reviewing RAM's of sub-contractors and issuing permit to work (PTW), preferably working on high end commercial sites in the past.
You will have a background & qualifications in a Mechanical AND/OR Electricaldiscipline and have extensive experience working in a building service / maintenance environment.
With this role, my client will provide an exciting training plan to all Engineers on the contract which includes:
- City and guilds electrical to mechanical conversion, OR mechanical to electrical conversion, (1 week)
- LV AP training
- Electrical bias staff
- Mechanical AP training
- Mechanical bias staff
- IOSH working safely
Responsibilities
You will:
- Deliver PPM relating primarily to Mechanical & Electrical Building Services Plant and System's inline with agreed programmes / SLA's in order to meet Client and Statutory Compliance.
- Costing and completing Reactive Works identified through PPM work undertaken when requested.
- Provide Service Support as part of a team providing quality service delivery
- To maintain premises to an exceptionally high standard
- To ensure that all applicable site documentation is kept up to date as this will be regularly audited either by internal or external parties.
- Assist with supervision of subcontractor works ensuring compliance and adherence to applicable H&S standards when required
Requirements:
You will have:
- Worked on various manufacturers systems, skilled in a Mechanical &/or Electrical Discipline carrying out PPMs in line with SFG20 or equivalent, with advanced fault finding diagnostic experience.
- Experience working as a Multi-Skilled Engineer
- Capable of undertaking Reactive Repairs with mínimal supervision.
- CHP / Biomass & Air Conditioning experience an advantage.
- IOSH Working / Managing Safely (Desirable)
- Safe system of Work Procedure
- PTW; RAMS etc (Desirable)
- L8 Training (Desirable)
- UK Driving License
