Cover Supervisor


We are seeking a dedicated Cover Supervisor who is passionate about education and making a positive impact on students' lives.

This role requires strong behavior management skills, knowledge of early childhood education, experience working with students with autism or developmental disabilities, and the ability to provide mentoring, proofreading, tutoring, and support in literacy education and creative writing.


Duties:


  • Provide classroom supervision and support in the absence of the regular teacher
  • Manage student behavior and ensure a positive learning environment
  • Follow lesson plans and deliver instruction as directed by the regular teacher
  • Provide oneonone assistance to students with special needs, including those with autism or developmental disabilities
  • Mentor and support students in their academic and personal development
  • Assist with proofreading and editing student work, particularly in literacy education and creative writing
  • Offer tutoring and additional support to students who may be struggling academically

Skills:


  • Strong behavior management skills to effectively handle classroom dynamics
  • Knowledge or experience in early childhood education and working with young learners
  • Familiarity with autism and developmental disabilities, and ability to adapt teaching strategies accordingly
  • Excellent mentoring skills to provide guidance and support to students
  • Proficient in proofreading and editing to assist students in improving their written work
Please note that this is a part-time position with flexible hours based on the needs of the school


Job Types:
Part-time, Temporary contract, Fixed term contract, Temp to perm


Pay:
£80.00-£120.00 per day
