Key accountabilities
Greeting Clients - welcome them on arrival with a smile.
Answering phone - within 3 rings with the correct greeting in an efficient and courteous manner.
Making / changing appointments using our bespoke business management system.
Registering new clients
Updating Client Details
Inputting results on client's records
Taking payments
Printing invoices
Handling insurance claims
Giving advice to clients on basic animal care, Flea and Worming, diet, PetPlan, Medivet Healthcare Plan.
Converting clinical telephone queries to appointments.
Manage client's minor complaints and escalating others to higher management
Handling Drugs and understanding rules surrounding repeat prescriptions.
To relay messages for clients / colleagues and to set realistic expectations as to when they will get a call back or response
Filing, Faxing, Copying and general administration.
Cashing up / Banking
Cleaning Reception, stocking up and cleaning consults rooms
Front of house stock ordering [Drugs, food, shop] and management?
Cleaning staff area [based on rota system with back of house]
Stock taking
Communicating with other surgeries.
Attending training sessions
