_Role Overview:
_We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Teaching Assistant to join our team.

As a TA, you will play a crucial role in supporting our SEMH boys, both academically and emotionally, helping them to engage with their education and develop essential life skills.

This position offers an excellent opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of these students, working in a supportive and collaborative educational environment.

_Key Responsibilities:
_

Assist in the implementation of tailored learning plans for students with SEMH needs.
Provide onetoone or group support to help students with their studies and emotional wellbeing.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere within the classroom and around the school.
Collaborate with teachers and support staff to develop effective strategies to meet individual student needs.
Assist in the preparation of learning materials and contribute to creating a stimulating learning environment.

_Requirements:
_

Previous experience working with children or young people, particularly those with SEMH needs, is advantageous but not essential.
A compassionate and patient approach, with the ability to connect and build positive relationships with students.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
An understanding of or willingness to learn about SEMH and various strategies to support these students.
Must be resilient

_Qualifications:
_

Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics.
Additional qualifications in teaching assistance or child development are advantageous but not mandatory.
Provide details for us to complete reference checks prior to employment. _
Provide an Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one (which Pink Tile can assist with). _
