Science Focussed Teaching Assistant

Roman Catholic Secondary School

West/Central London

Immediate Start
We are currently working with a very prestigious Roman Catholic School in Central London.

They are currently looking to recruit some experienced teaching assistant to work within the SEN department mainly focussing on Science.

Ideally you will have previousschool experience or relevant child related experience, for example tutoring, summer camps or student ambassador work.

This position is for an immediate start t and will run for the entire academic year.


Situated in West/Central London the school is close to a tube and a train station and plenty of local bus routes.


Key parts of the role:

  • Strong knowledge in Science
  • You will be working within the SEN department supporting across the curriculum.
  • Some small group work
  • Study Support.
  • Lunch duties and homework club
  • Students are generally well behaved, very few behavioural issues.
  • Pastoral support

Key skills and experience needed:

  • University degree
  • SEN Experience
  • Previous support work within a school or other child related experience
  • Professional manor
  • Enthusiasm and friendly approach
  • Experience or knowledge within special educational needs
