Description

Manage waiting lists for in and outpatients prioritising work accordingly and implement service redesign when appropriate. Undertake TTE, scanning, reporting and interpretation of images, including images obtained by other Physiologists.

Assist the Cardiologist during TOE and Dobutamine Stress Echo, undertaking patient preparation and monitoring, setting up infusions, preparing drugs and contrast agents.

Undertake additional Cardiorespiratory Investigations as required.

Continue to develop technical skills through a sound knowledge of research and audit and implement evidence-based practice. Responsible for staff and patient safety, using well maintained equipment in a safe environment.
