  • 12 month FTC**

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the technical team in Supply Chain for a Supplier Assurance Technologist.

Reporting to the Supplier Assurance Manager you will be responsible for product and supplier information management for all products purchased by Domino's and sold onto stores ensuring keys systems and their data are kept up to date, challenging when incorrect or non-compliant.

You will ensure Supplier performance is continually monitored for improvements and that Domino's safety and quality requirements are continually upheld, and that any potential issues are managed within Domino's supply chain.


Main responsibilities include:


Product Surveillance Programme

  • Responsible for managing and completing the product surveillance programme for DPG, ensuring products on intake are within specification for key criteria such as microbiology, chemistry, allergens & quality.
  • Coordinate relevant samples and testing with thirdparty laboratory.
  • Communicate out of specification results to suppliers and working with the relevant supplier assurance manager, to ensure corrective action plans are robust and closed out.
  • Ensure QAS documents are in place for all products and are regularly reviewed and updated.
  • Investigation of any samples for product quality due to complaints

Supplier Information Management:


  • Responsible for managing Supplier Information Database (Arcus), working with the relevant supplier assurance manager to ensure all technical information is up to date and accurate. Supporting suppliers in completion of accurate specifications to comply with legislation and Domino's requirements. Responsible for training new team members on how to navigate and complete workflows in the Arcus system.
  • Work with Trade interchange (Arcus) to update the system to improve usability and function where required.

Supplier Performance Management

  • Raising supplier nonconformances, communicating these with suppliers and working with the relevant supplier assurance manager, to ensure corrective action plans are robust and closed out.
  • Support on quarantines and recalls with supplier assurance manager or head of department, ensuring that all issues are documented appropriately. Root cause investigation completed, and incidents are resolved in a timely manner. Ensuring procedures for these activities are documented, clear to execute and updated accordingly.

What we are looking for

  • Food Science Degree or equivalent experience demonstrating strong knowledge and experience of food safety and quality assurance understanding.
  • Knowledge of Food Manufacturing Processes
  • Knowledge of HACCP and Food safety and Quality Management systems
  • Highly selfmotivated, capable of owning data systems and working on their own initiative.
  • Highly proficient with Excel (including pivot tables, formula working) to manipulate data.
  • Proficient with webbased specification and supplier management database systems
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex issues in a simple manner to ensure broad understanding from cross functional teams.
  • Able to work collaboratively with all areas of the business, building good internal and external relationships.
  • The role will involve mínimal travel but may involve national and international travel to accompany audits.
