Position:
School Sports Coach


Fixed working hours: 15 hours per week Monday to Thursday. Shift times will range, with earliest start time being 3pm and the latest finish time being 6pm


Additional hours available around your schedule:Saturdays and/or Sundays. Shift times will range, with the earliest start time being 08:30 and the latest finish time being 12:30


Primary working location:
Positions available throughout West, South West & Central London


Pay:
£10 to £14 per hour

Are you a Multi Sports Coach looking for extra work? Do you live in or around Chiswick area? Are you free Monday to Thursday from 3pm - 6pm ? If you are then read on.......

We urgently require Level 1 and 2 Coaches to cover after school clubs in and around Chiswick.

The Role:


You will be working as a Sports Coach in local primary schools, so it is ESSENTIAL you have up-to-date DBS clearance.

You must be Reliable, Punctual and Enthusiastic and ideally have experience of working with Primary School Children.

Successful coaches will be offered more hours depending on successful performance and positive feedback from school staff.

Are you the right person to join our team?


We are looking for a confident and dedicated leader who is able to work as part of our growing team.

We would like somebody who has a wealth of knowledge in sports coaching, teaching or childcare and can lead a group of children to work towards their long-term development.

You must have a passion for what we do and can contribute to the continuous progression of the club.


Daily tasks include:


  • Delivering fun, engaging and creative sports sessions for children ranging from 18 months to 13 years
  • Supporting new coaches in their development and to help progress them to a lead coach status
  • Liaising with customers to provide feedback, discuss their child's development and to promote upcoming events and terms
  • Maintaining health and safety standards
  • Promoting the brand in a positive way at all times
  • Setting up and packing down sports equipment

Essential Requirements

  • Minimum two years coaching experience
  • Minimum level 1 or 2 in any chosen sport
  • Previous experience of leading sports coaching sessions or managing a group of children within an education environment
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Be comfortable speaking to parents and children
  • Be comfortable liaising with school staff
  • Experience within early years or childcare
  • Two references from previous employers

Desired Requirements

  • DBS certificate
  • First aid qualification
  • Child safeguarding qualification
  • Full clean driving license
  • Minimum level 1 in an additional sport
