We are a friendly Practice based in Warsop Nottinghamshire looking for a part time administration clerk.

Hours would be discussed at interview. _


Experience and knowledge of primary care would be advantageous but as long as you are friendly, enthusiastic and pay attention to detail we can train you.


JOB PURPOSE


As a critical member of the administration team within General Practice, you will be responsible for reviewing all incoming patient correspondence, processing/forwarding according to the protocol, and ensuring patients have follow up appointments as required.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To scan and code letter and relevant correspondence into the Practice medical computer system
  • To forward relevant information to the appropriate person as per the protocol
  • To enter coded information accurately and consistently
  • To recall and book patient appointments in a timely manner
  • To communicate effectively with patients, parents, and all visitors in a professional and courteous manner
  • To deal with all enquiries in a helpful and sensitive manner
  • To answer patient questions, provide information, and address complaints
  • Occasionally, it may be required that you assist with other administrative duties due to staff shortages.

Job Type:
Part-time


Salary:
£10.90 per hour

Expected hours: 25 per week


Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Mansfield: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
