Sales Ledger Clerk


Salary:
£24,000-26,500 (depending on experience)


Working Hours:
Full time, Monday - Friday, , 35h per week


Location:
Office-based in Barnstaple

We are seeking a detail-oriented Sales Ledger to join an established Finance team with this Barnstaple based FMCG business. Your role will involve maintaining sales transaction records, ensuring accurate and timely client invoicing, and monitoring payments.

If you have experience in sales ledger functions, strong accounting knowledge, and proficiency in Excel and SAGE 50, we invite you to apply.


Responsibilities for this Sales Ledger Clerk role:

  • Customer management, including setting up and maintaining accounts.
  • Sales order management and data entry into Sage.
  • Handling dispatch documentation, such as delivery notes
  • Invoicing and credit notes.
  • Accounts receivable oversight and management, including reconciliations.
  • Monthend reporting.
To be considered for this Sales Ledger Clerk role:

  • Previous sales ledger/invoicing/dispatch administration experience
  • Proficient in processing high volumes of invoices
  • IT skills, including Excel and SAGE 50
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
