Description
We are hiring for a Secure Receptionist to work Saturdays 16:00 - 21:00.

The purpose of the receptionist is to ensure the efficient and smooth running of the secure hospital reception area.

This will be achieved by an effective and professional approach to meeting and greeting visitors, whilst ensuring inbound calls are screened and directed to the correct department / individual if required.


Key Responsibilities include:


  • To effectively manage the secure reception entrance to the hospital
  • Greet visitors and callers in a polite and professional manner and always represent the company in a positive light
  • To facilitate the administration of daytoday security requirements, i.e. signing out keys and alarms and auditing of same, testing alarms and pagers etc
  • To carry out reception administrative tasks, e.g., post, photocopying, laminating etc
  • To operate the company's central switchboard effectively and ensure a prompt response to incoming calls, taking accurate messages when required
  • To always keep the reception area in a presentable fashion
  • To effectively manage or complete job functions and tasks which are specifically delegated to you by the operations manager

About you, the successful receptionist

Experience and skillset:


  • At least 1 years experience in a similar environment
  • Competent PC skills, including MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Ability to prioritise workloads and multitask effectively
  • Possess excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
  • Willingness to undertake training in accordance with assessed needs
  • Willingness to adhere to antidiscrimination, health and safety, and other statutory policies
