Description

Our client a reputable building and maintenance contractor with ongoing social housing and MOD projects across the East Anglia region is seeking a skilled fire door fitter / installer / carpenter for long term work on various fire door installation andfire compartmentation projects in the Stowmarket, Thetford and Gt Yarmouth areas.

Role responsibilities and duties include

  • Fitting of fire doors to a high standard in domestic accommodation communal areas.
  • Repairs to fire doors such as locks and seals.
  • Ongoing maintenance, repair and refurbishment.
  • Appropriate use of all materials, tools, and resources.
They must also ensure health and safety regulations are adhered to at all times.

Necessary skills and qualifications:

  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Carpentry
  • NVQ in passive fire / fire stopping (desirable, not essential)
  • Have excellent customer service and communication skills

The position comes with a company vehicle and fuel card and could lead to a long terM/Full time position with the company.

Alternatively own vehicle can be used with full mileage expenses paid.
ASAP start.
Rates can be offered on a CIS or PAYE basis.
