I am working with a fantastic company who are looking for an experienced and dedicated Bookkeeper to work from our office in Warwickshire, reporting to the Finance Manager


Responsibilities:


  • Maintaining our computerised financial records, including purchases, sales, employee expenses, credit card and petty cash transactions, bank receipts and payments.
  • Liaison with suppliers and credit customers.
  • Production of sales invoices for credit customers and advertising recharges
  • Credit control.
  • Monthly reconciliation of bank and other control accounts.
  • Preparing supplier payments

Skills and Requirements:


  • Experience and competency in the use of Xero and Excel
  • Experience with Dext (an invoice recognition software) would be an advantage.
  • Minimum 3 years bookkeeping experience
  • Solid understanding of payable/receivable accounting principles
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Confidence to use initiative and prioritise tasks whilst also being a strong communicator and team player
  • Experience with meeting targets and deadlines
  • Key personal attributes: reliable, responsible, decisive and organised
  • Commitment and dedication to high standards and accuracy
  • Ability to liaise, collaborate & communicate with the wider team & business

Salary:
£28,000-£32,000 pro rata, depending on experience


Days/Hours:
Part Time hours per week, by agreement
