Due to our recent successes and expansion plans, we are looking for commercial catering engineers to work within our team.

Working with schools, colleges, garden centres, restaurants, care homes, universities and high street chains we offer installations, service and repair to all aspects of commercial kitchen equipment, delivering excellent results through our solution focused team.

As a catering engineer you will work closely with our clients to install to a high standard, carry out preventative maintenance, fault find and repair a varied range of commercial kitchen appliances.

You will utilise your knowledge, accrued skill and tenacious attitude to deliver repairs to our clients with professional and technical prowess.

What will you be doing?

You will be assigned reactive jobs, planned services (PPM's) and installations to see through from beginning to end with the freedom to truly find the best solution within manufacturers specifications.

• Attending reactive call outs to client's kitchen appliances, utilising van stock and technical knowledge, to provide repairs
• Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance in client's premises to keep equipment in its best possible working order. Giving professional advice on remedial action where required.
• Installing equipment to manufacturers specifications and signing off its safe usage to give the client peace of mind on safety and performance, from one off asset replacements to full project installations.
• Inspecting and Certificating gas appliances by issue of Gas Safe Certificates when safe to do so, making clients aware of shortfall in standards and where applicable offering solutions to remedy these.
• Communicating with the scheduling team to keep vital information about repairs fluid, allowing for real time planning and updates to our clients.

What do we would like from you

• Commercial Catering Gas qualifications (Essential
• CCCN1, COMCAT1,COMCAT3, COMCAT5) (Desired
• CONGLP1 CMC CoNGLP1 PD)
• Demonstrate Electrical Safety, competence and certification
• Field Service Experience (Manufacturer training)
• Experience working on all commercial catering equipment
• Full driving license
