Salary:
Up to 63k

Home Based with some UK travel

Key Responsibilities:
The Senior Consultant will be expected to lead small teams of Consultants and peers on larger assignments.

The work will be varied, as dictated by customers' and company requirements.

  • Delivering Energy management assignments. These will often involve work as part of a small team.
  • Carrying out bespoke energy and feasibility surveys to meet the specified customer requirements.
  • Carrying out an appropriate site survey
  • Collecting site data, e.g. utility consumptions and cost data, site drawings, etc
  • Analysing site survey and data to identify energy consumption and/or cost improvement opportunities
  • Writing a professional report.
  • Project Management assignments, i.e. implementing utility reduction and other utility related projects on customers' site.
  • Managing and/or supporting customers in managing the various carbon and emissions management schemes, e.g. EUETS, CCA and CRC.
  • Identifying further business opportunities within their customer portfolio.
  • Establish good working relationships with suppliers and service providers and take responsibility for account management of their designated clients
  • Maintain an awareness of developments within the energy/utilities and ESG marketplace
  • Comply with the company's ISO 9001:2015 accredited Documented Management System (DMS), ISO 50001:2018 accredited Energy Management System (EnMS) and B Corp accreditation requirements.
  • To represent the company in a professional manner at all times.
  • To communicate effectively and openly with all levels of staff within company and customer's organisations.

Key attributes:

  • Strong numerate, analytical, and problemsolving skills
  • Computer literate with advanced MS Excel and database skills
  • High level of motivation and ability to work on own initiative
  • Organised with a proactive approach with excellent timekeeping skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to multitask
  • A selfstarter and strong teamplayer, flexible and able to work effectively without close supervision
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to provide industryleading customer service to all internal and external customers.

Essential:

  • Recognised degree in a relevant technical or business discipline
  • Minimum of five years' experience of working in an energy and sustainability consultancy environment
  • Chartered Engineer status or postgraduate qualification
  • Membership of recognised professional body
  • Qualified ESOS Lead Assessor
  • Selfstarter and able to work on own initiative with minimum supervision
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Computer literate, with good knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel

Desirable:

  • Comprehension of Net Zero / environmental / sustainability issues in relation to ESG reporting
