We manufacture our board products in our Colchester, UK based factory to meet the highest level of inspection standards for long life cycle, reliable operation.
Our products are used by many of the world's leading integrators within the Defence, Security, Aerospace, Telecommunications, Transportation, Medical and Industrial markets and are designed to be operated in a range of temperatures and environments from benign to extreme rugged.
We are supported by a world-wide network of distributors and manufacturers' representatives to ensure that local support is always available to our customers.

Reporting into the CFO, the Head of Commercial will play a pivotal role in leading high profile and strategically important initiatives/contracts (globally).
Overall, this is an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Manager who is looking to take the next step in their career.
What will I be responsible for?
- End to end commercial support with full accountability for commercial strategy and direction, providing guidance and advice on contractual, legal and regulatory matters
- Utilising best practice contract management tools and techniques to ensure contractual obligations are managed and adhered to throughout life of the contract
- Developing innovative partnering and collaboration strategies and agreements in support of new business opportunities
- Commercial negotiations with customers and partners capturing the outcomes in appropriate contracts and agreements
- Reporting and communicating across the wider organisation, including attending various management reviews
- Identifying, understanding and mitigating risk, to ensure we achieve the best and most appropriate commercial solution for our business

What do I need to bring with me?
Demonstrated knowledge and experience
- Sound knowledge of contracting mechanisms and terms and conditions, ideally within the Defence industry.
- Proven experience of negotiating, managing and changing contracts / partnering arrangements.
- Demonstrated experience with Lifecycle Management and business processes (desirable).
- Understanding of Export Control and Compliance including UK Export and ITAR (desirable).
Technical skills and qualifications
- A professional qualification such as IACCM (desirable)

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills that enable you to build and maintain relationships with customers and partners.
- Ability to obtain positive outcomes, with a strong desire to win business and adopt innovative approaches to winning new business.
