At Gregory Distribution Ltd, we have a vacancy for a

HGV Driver
***based at our

Exeter
***Depot.

To become part of the Gregory Team, we need our Drivers to have the following:

A valid LGV UK Driving Licence.
A valid UK Driver CPC Card.
A valid UK Digital Tachograph Card.

The position will involve:

Predominately driving a Class 2 (C) vehicle delivering specialist parts and equipment on behalf of our client to keep their local depots fully stocked, ready for them to complete planned maintenance work.
Providing support on a secondary contract, driving a Class 1 (CE) vehicle collecting and delivering specialist MHE (Mechanical Handling Equipment) and accessories on behalf of our client (nights out required).
Working on a set delivery rota with known destinations and depots.
Loading/unloading of vehicle using a Counterbalance forklift truck (training provided).
Putting stock away at the delivery depots, either by hand or using a forklift.
Working with handheld devices to record and monitor workload daily.
Keeping in regular contact with the transport team for updates on progress and managing our customer's expectations.
Attending regular training sessions.
