This is a temporary role to support the delivery of a functional transformation programme and strategic HR projects for a period of of up to 12 months for the Retail and Savings business.

The role of HR Project Consultant will work closely with the HRD and HR Business Partners to support the end-to-end restructuring process and HR strategic projects.

There may be multiple streams of work running concurrently so the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines is essential.



Accountabilities:


  • Managing the HR people and project plans, tracking, and raising with the HRD and HRBP where any risks to delivery may arise.
  • Manage and produce data and reports to support transformation and change activities.
  • Tracking employee data through the project to ensure the right actions take place at the right time.
  • Issuing project documentation, tracking returns and updating systems appropriately.
  • Supporting the HRBP with the collective consultation process, attending and minuting meetings.
  • Supporting managers with the creation of new profiles, quality checking, coordinating and tracking the process to ensure all profiles are produced to the required timescales.
  • Acting as the link between the project and the HR operations team to ensure that deadlines are met, and the correct documents are provided at the correct times.
  • Supporting the HRBP to deliver manager upskilling sessions, supporting managers and answering questions from them thought out the process.
  • Setting up and managing communication channels such as a TAP site and project mailbox.
  • Being available to support colleagues with any questions they have on the process which need additional support out with the normal routes.
  • Support HRBP and managers with local and global policy queries.
  • Interpret relevant country employment and labour legislation into policy and practice.

  • Organisation Design, spans and layers exercise.
  • Talent and succession review.
  • Consumer Duty Regulation is a very significant piece of regulation that sets higher expectations for the standard of care firms across the financial services industry give to consumers in retail financial markets. It aims to ensure that existing best practice around good outcomes for consumers is applied consistently across the industry.
  • Senior Executive Accountability Regime (SEAR) regulatory project that requires adjusting job descriptions and people policies, places obligations on firms and senior individuals within them to set out clearly where responsibility and decisionmaking lies.
  • Review of the benefits offer.
  • Review of professional subscriptions regarding benefits in kind and tax reliefs, employment contracts amendments accordingly.

Key Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • Proven work experience as an HR Generalist / HR Project Manager / Coordinator.
  • An awareness and understanding of the endtoend business transformation process with experience of supporting similar projects previously.
  • The ability to proactively anticipate issues and be confident in developing solutions
  • An ability to react quickly and decisively to problems once identified, considering options and making decisions to determine the appropriate course of action.
  • Strong verbal and written communication.
  • Comfortable working under pressure and using own initiative with mínimal supervision.
  • Experience of building relationships with a range of stakeholders at all levels in the organisation.
  • Strong organisational, project management and problemsolving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Demonstrable experience with HR data, reporting and metrics. Strong expertise in Workday, Excel and PowerPoint.
