A leader in the provision of property services and independent living are looking for a catering assistant to join their team permanently.

You will be working on a part-time contract of 25 hours per week, with a 1 in 3 weekend rota.

As a catering assistant, you will be responsible for the following

Assisting the independent living catering manager
Prepare and cook food
Assist in the daytoday operation of the restaurant, to support customers over the age of 55 to live as independently as possible
Deliver meals across independent living schemes
Previous experience in a customer service role
Good understanding of the needs and service requirements of older and vulnerable people
Well organised
Previous background in a role within the care/independent living sector or a background in catering is a bonus

This is a part-time, permanent role.
