Description

Clinical Lead in Dementia Care Vacancy

Our Specialist Dementia Care provision is undergoing a review and we are seeking to provide a service which focuses on the welfare and wellbeing of people who are emotionally distressed by their dementia and therefore require 'specialist' care, as evidenced by leadership, bespoke staffing, staff competence and skills, and environmental design.

Whether you are at the start of your exciting career journey or have years of experience as a Specialist Dementia Practitioner or Registered Mental Health Nurse, working within a care home environment we want to hear from you.

You will either hold a Dementia Specialist Qualification or be a Registered Mental Health or Learning Disability Nurse with a valid NMC PIN number and will understand your commitment to providing the best Dementia service to residents in your care.

You will have a passion to mentor and share your knowledge with your Colleagues, along with providing support as a practice supervisor and assessor to junior staff.

You will understand the importance of effective communication, both verbally and written, and role model professional behaviours.
