What is the job?

Join our team and make it happen We're recruiting for LGV Class 1 Night drivers based at our Newport location.

Collecting and delivering various products in our supply chain, you'll be pivotal in continuing Esken Renewables success as the UK's number one supplier of biomass fuel We have long-term contracts in place to supply nearly 2 million tonnes of fuel to Energy Recovery Facilities, generating renewable energy equivalent to the annual domestic electricity needs of 2% of the UK population.

Working Schedule:
Monday to Friday - Nights, 50 hours per week.

We have outstanding legal compliance.
We treat all of our employees with dignity and respect.
We recognise that vocational licences belong to our drivers, not the company.
We listen to our drivers and never ask that they undertake any duty which they deem to be unsafe.
We provide full training including our own inhouse DCPC.
We provide regular twoway briefing sessions with our drivers on matters of safety and legislation we really do welcome your input
We're always on hand to help and support you.

What we need from you:

LGV C+E (Class 1) licence with a maximum of 6 penalty points
Have good geographical knowledge of the UK road network
Good understanding of EU Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive legislation
Hold valid DQC and Digital Tachograph Card
Live within 1 hour of the depot

Don't worry if you've no experience of bulk work. Our driver trainers will ensure you're comfortable with our equipment before you start

Comply to Drivers' Hours Regulations and Working Time Directive at all times
