We have some fantastic opportunities for enthusiastic and experienced individuals with strong organisational skills to join our community nursing teams in theEastlocality of Birmingham as a Team Administrator.

You will be joining us at an exciting time when over the next 6 months there will be changes to community nursing teams across theEast Locality as part of a programme of transformation.

Therefore, although you will be based within the East Locality your base may change when in post.

Service hours


Hours of work will initially be Monday - Friday 9am-5pm but following the transformation the requirements will change depending on whether you work with one of our four new 'planned' community nursing teams or the 'unplanned' team.

The hours of work for the Team Administrators in the new teams are set out below:

  • Monday
  • Friday 9am 5pm withnobank holiday working


To provide a comprehensive administrative support to the Integrated Multi-Disciplinary Team including typing of letters, minutes of meetings and other documentation.

Implement and maintain central filing systems for patient records, patient information, care plan documentation and staff documentation. Undertake office duties such as photocopying and replenishing information as required by the District Nurses. Answer non-clinical queries from clients and their relatives seeking advice from the Nursing Staff.


IMPORTANT

You will be based in a Community Nursing Team and will support the clinical staff with the day to day office duties to support the team.


This includes:

Answering the phone

Photocopying

Updating patient visit schedules on RIO

Running safety reports

Maintaining the CIF tool

Maintaining Healthroser for the team
