Description

Secondary School Teaching Assistant's needed

Responsibilities:

Providing general classroom support to pupils in Key Stage 3 and
Assisting with the planning and delivery of lessons
Providing 1:1 support to pupils with additional needs
Helping pupils to access the curriculum and achieve their full potential
Working closely with teachers and other members of the school's support team to ensure pupils' needs are met

Requirements:

Relevant qualifications or experience in supporting pupils in a school setting (No experience necessary as training can be provided by Tradewind Recruitment)
Experience of working with pupils with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) is desirable
Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
A positive and proactive approach to working with young people
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
A commitment to promoting the welfare and safeguarding of our pupils

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and supportive team in a vibrant and successful school. The pay for the position is between £375 and £425 per week, depending on experience.
