My Client, an International bank in the City, seek a senior Risk professional to be the Deputy to their CRO in London.


The individual will be:


Responsible for managing the risk department to identify, assess, mitigate and report the Bank's risk exposures in accordance to the "Risk Appetite" established by the Management Committee.


Providing risk oversight of business lines including corporate banking and lending, FI finance, FX trades, treasury and money market activities.

Supporting the Business Areas in developing profitable business in a prudent and controlled way.

Responsible for driving forward initiatives to develop a comprehensive, effective and up to date risk management policies and procedures.


Be part of the risk leadership team and build relationships with key stakeholders, leading strong risk teams as the Bank continues to grow.


  • Demonstrate technical knowledge and expertise in analyzing credit risks and market risks;
  • Strong experience in implementing credit risk management frameworks, policies and procedures.
  • Detail oriented with strong analytical skills and the ability to explain complex, technical concepts.
  • Practical and commercial approach to problem solving
  • Experience in delivering enhancements to process efficiency
  • A good understanding of a broad range of wholesale banking and treasury products and a strong understanding of the sources of credit and market risk in such products.
  • A sound understanding of operational risk concepts and methodology.
  • A good knowledge of financial services industry and the UK regulatory landscape.
