_This role can be based in our London OR Haywards Heath office with options for flexible/remote working._

The Opportunity:

This role is offered on a part-time basis with flexibility around what that looks like (e.g. reduced hours Mon-Fri or four day working week)

What you'll do:


  • Provide ongoing improvements to Shieldpay's approach to reward and
remuneration to ensure we are providing a fair, engaging, and motivating
reward structure for all our employees

  • Manage the remuneration programs and cyclical activities such remuneration
reviews, market matching/benchmarking, and align with employee share
option plans

  • Working with the Director of People to build a totalreward structure for our
Exec Team and Non-Execs

  • Support the design and management of all company sales commission plans,
bonus and incentive programs across all areas of the business

  • Undertake internal and external remuneration benchmarking to support the
- business and the HR team in remuneration decision making

  • Responsible for ensuring all new hires/leavers documents are reported to
payroll provider within the timelines, ensuring completeness of all new hire
paperwork

  • First line support for all staff payroll and tax queries as well as responding to payroll audit requests
  • Working with the People Coordinator to ensure seamless benefit
administration including processing joiners, leavers, changes and taxable
benefit queries

  • Manage the employee benefit programs including relationship management
of vendors and internal stakeholders, promotion of the program, and
responding to employee queries


What are we looking for in you:

  • Prior experience within a smaller but scaling business is key
  • Direct experience from within a regulated or fintech business
  • Experience of working and liaising with outsourced payroll providers in the
preparation and running of payroll

  • Comfortable and experienced in processing workflow, transactions and data
changes using HRIS systems

  • Ability to promote and implement changes to current practices and processes
  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and organisational skills
