Team/Function Overview:


Institutional Clients Group (ICG) Risk and Controls Transformation spans all the ICG Business Areas, responsible for delivery of strategic regulatory and controls initiatives.


The ICG Risk and Control Transformation Assistant Vice President will engage with project management and transformation teams across the ICG businesses to coordinate and calibrate remediation work efforts related to Booking Control Remediation.

The individual will interact across various legal entities, businesses, and risk stripes to facilitate Booking Control testing and the delivery of appropriate risk and control solutions.

The solutions will be anchored to internal requirements, regulatory commitments and industry best practices related to Booking Controls.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Support transformation initiatives required to control key operational risks across lines of business, functions and locations related to ICG Booking Control remediation.
  • Work with stakeholders across lines of defence and endtoend functions to define minimum control standards expected of business lines and assist with implementing riskbased enhancements.
  • Work with Finance to assist with updating the Booking Control Policy to include minimum control expectations.
  • Run specific projects and initiatives related to Booking Controls, delivering endtoend, sustainable outcomes for the impacted lines of business and locations.
  • Support program governance, oversight and monitoring in accordance with Citi and ICG Program Management Policies and Standards for the ICG Risk and Controls portfolio, and specifically the Booking Controls remediation.
  • Monitor and manage program risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies.
  • Produce endtoend program plans and tracking of progress and changes.

Qualifications and skills:


  • Relevant experience within large Financial Services organisations.
  • Detailed experience in Risk and Controls is essential, with a focus on Business Processing Risk and/or Booking Controls preferred.
  • Able to provide leadership and influence in a matrix organization.
  • Capable of prioritizing and multitasking in a dynamic, fast paced environment.
  • Relevant leadership experience within a first line risk / operational risk, control or compliance function
  • Good understanding of program management methodologies, frameworks, processes, tools and industry best practices.
  • Strong senior stakeholder management and communication across multiple businesses, regions and functions.
