Finance and Accounts Administrator

Location:
Silverstone, Northamptonshire


Contract:
Full time/ permanent


Report to:
Financial Controller


Salary:
£25,000-£30,000 PA

About the role

This role will include:

  • Processing of purchase orders and invoices
  • Processing sales orders
  • Creating KPI's for supplier performance
  • Expediting outstanding purchase orders with suppliers
  • Reconciliation of supplier accounts and dealing with supplier queries
  • Payment of invoices
  • Raising and processing Sales invoices
  • Ensuring payments are received on time, chasing customers where necessary and dealing with customer queries
  • Set up of new suppliers
  • Dealing with internal purchasing queries
  • Working with the procurement team to ensure smooth payment processing
  • Processing Credit card transaction
  • Processing Staff Expenses
  • Receiving and processing daily posts
  • Any other adhoc tasks

Person Specification:
Core competencies and experience.


Applicants will preferably have:

  • Purchase ledger experience desirable
  • Experience using accounting software (Quickbooks)
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritise own workload & work on own initiative
  • Approachable and adaptable
  • Very good organisational skills
  • Confidentiality

The role may require you to work out of main office hours or to travel around the UK or abroad and spend periods of time with our customers off site.
