Job Purpose:

To develop and maintain the Asset Management database to ensure that Sovereign are collecting information required for them to meet their Regulatory obligations to Decent Homes and the Homes
and Place Standard and responsible for maintaining high quality data in our Asset Management data source.

Key Accountabilities:

Responsible for the development and maintenance of the Asset Management database, ensuring that data recording structures and methodology of data collection meet the requirements of Sovereign to fulfil their Regulatory obligations.
To lead on testing on Asset Management database upgrades, liaising with system stakeholders and ensuring that a robust testing plan is in place and signed off before upgrade takes place.
Issue stock condition survey packages to external and internal surveyors, via mobile technology, ensuring that external surveyors are set up to meet approved protocols and to enable smooth integration into the Asset Management database.
Promote collected stock condition survey data, which meets the Asset Management quality standard and approved protocols, to the asset management system.
Manage the return of any data that does not meet quality standards and protocols with regional colleagues to ensure appropriate correction.
Responsible for ensuring data quality in the upload of bulk data sets.
Establish and maintain own effectiveness by developing working relationships with all stakeholders, ensuring integrated contribution to Sovereign's corporate objectives whilst observing Sovereign's policies, procedures, and ways of working.

Knowledge & Skills:

Knowledge and experience of Asset Management stock condition databases
Demonstrable analytical skills, ability to analyse large and small data sets to draw conclusion and/or trends.
Demonstrable Intermediate or advance experience in Microsoft Excel.
Excellent oral, written communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience of working to deadlines and achieving targets through own work and work driven through teams.
Ability to validate and impact assess, to escalate data issues as required.
Ability to impact assess and to understand the difference between 'major' and 'minor' data issues.
Knowledge of methods to monitor the quality of data and identify issues e.g. reconciliations
