CAHSS / Edinburgh College of Art / Estates.

Open Ended Contract - Permanent; Full Time Hours - 35 Hours Per Week.
The Edinburgh College of Art is looking to recruit a full-time Estates Assistant on an open-ended contract.


The Opportunity:


Situated within the dedicated ECA Estates Team, the postholder will provide firstline support in all matters related to Estates, Facilities and Security across the ECA Estate, proactively identifying areas for improvement and supporting buildings, space and project management to ensure all buildings occupied by the school are managed appropriately and any issues resolved in a timely manner.


Skills and Attributes for Success

  • Vocational qualification (N/SVQ2 / ONC or equivalent) PLUS typically 1 years' work experience in a relevant role OR, School education to standard grade or equivalent PLUS typically 2 years' relevant work experience.
  • Competent communication skills with a particular focus on good customer facing dialogue.
  • Experience in a customer facing role.
  • Ability to manage own time on a day to day and week to week basis.
  • Ability to take direction and work under mínimal supervision when required.
  • Competent in the use of Microsoft Office, in particular Outlook, Word and Excel as well as database systems.
  • Accuracy and ability to prioritise tasks within a routine.
  • Ability to develop effective working relationships with a wide range of colleagues.
  • Willingness to undertake any training and development necessary for the role.
