Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Owner to lead our efforts in becoming a full-scale acquirer and payment provider.

As the Product Owner at XPate, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our strategic direction and driving the development of our comprehensive payment solutions, mainly focusing on card acquiring, wallets, and alternative payment methods.

You will join a highly energized team from various backgrounds, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.


WHAT YOU'LL BE WORKING ON

Strategy and Vision:

Develop and articulate a strategic vision for xpate to become the industry's leading acquirer and payment provider.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align product strategies with business goals;

Product Development: Lead the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from ideation to delivery, ensuring timely and high-quality releases.
Define and prioritize features and functionalities that enhance xpate's acquisition and payment provider capabilities.
Led the cards' product portfolio, understanding acquiring challenges with an extreme attention to detail.

Market Analysis
Conduct thorough market research to identify industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging opportunities in the payments landscape.
Use market insights to guide product decisions and stay ahead of industry developments;

Stakeholder Collaboration
Work closely with internal teams, including engineering, to gather input, address challenges, and ensure successful product launches.
Collaborate with external partners and vendors to enhance XPate's ecosystem and capabilities

Regulatory Compliance
Stay informed about relevant regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the payments industry;
Ensure that xpate's acquirer and payment services adhere to all applicable regulations;


WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE

  • 5+ years of Product Management experience in a fintech environment.
  • Ability to lead product teams with multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience defining longerterm strategy and aligning with senior management.
  • Familiarity with terms like card scheme compliance, network tokenization, SCA optimization, etc.
  • Ability to gather insights, conduct market research, and perform competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Experience driving the product roadmap, setting clear objectives, and prioritizing feature enhancements.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team in a fastpaced environment.
  • Excellent communication in English and organizational skills.
