Description
The Transport Planner will be responsible for planning mutlidrop routes B2B directly to customers distribution centres and private businesses. The planner will also be required to plan collection routes from customer's DCs for reloading out to be deliveredagain.

My client are a haulage business based in Liverpool delivering a mixture of goods for customers out to their distribution centres and sites.


Description
The key responsibilities for the role of Transport Planner in St Helens will be:

  • Planning delivery and collection routes for around 30 vehicles a day.
  • Managing drivers WTD when planning routes.
  • Making adhoc changes to plans depending on daily changes.
  • Communicating and liaising with customers around the status of deliveries.
  • Managing KPIs for fuel efficiency etc.

Profile

  • Experience in transport planning.
  • Good knowledge of transport and WTD regulations.
  • Experience in multidrop planning and groupage.
  • Good IT and transport software skills.
  • The ability to work methodically and until a task is complete.

Job Offer
