A North East based Games studio are currently looking for an experienced Technical Artist to join their growing team.

Founded by established industry experts, the team are made up of award-winning developers who have come from AAA backgrounds and have a history of releasing a range of high-quality games, some of which have been adored in the games industry.

The studio has a long-standing history in creating some of the best games on the market on console platforms.

In this role, you'll work closely with Artists, Producers and Designers as part of an experienced team where both your technical skills and creative vision will help shape creative content.


You'll help drive, refine and document tech art best practices, working with the other disciplines to ensure standards and processes are reviewed regularly to ensure efficiency and quality, within a project.


In return the studio can offer a competitive salary of up to £60k, flexible working hours, annual/Christmas bonuses, private healthcare and Christmas Closures.

Requirements:


  • A passion for games
  • Experience shipping a AAA game in a Technical Artist Role
  • Solid understanding of current and nextgen art pipelines and techniques in game development
  • Experience using Unreal Engine
  • Knowledge and skills in Maya and Substance Designer and Painter
  • A communicative individual who will thrive in an inclusive environment
