Description

As a Data Analyst, you enjoy working with large and complex data sets, analysing data to draw valid inferences, and compiling MI reports.

You will be working closely with the intelligence team, counter fraud department, litigation department, and underwriters,to produce and manage a wide range of data extracts.

Your skill set will support the growth and decision making of our company's counter fraud function at all stages of the customer journey

Data Analyst (Fraud)


Location:
Home with ocassional travel to the Office (Liverpool)


Working hours: 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday from 9am to 5:30pm


Salary:
£26,000 - £36,000 DOE


What you will be doing:


  • To produce MI reports which can provide insight such as trends, benchmarks, false positives, and fraud rates
  • To manipulate, analyse and interpret complex data sets extracted from a range of policy and claims databases
  • To create data dashboards, graphs, and visualisations
  • To assist in the promotion of data integrity across the business
  • Contribute to the continued improvement of intelligence products & output
  • Provide continued feedback and analysis of counter fraud rule sets and risk models
  • To develop an understanding of the fraud landscape and develop counterfraud measures accordingly
  • Ensure strict adherence to company policies such as TCF, GDPR and FCA regulations

What we're looking for:


  • Attention to detail and highly organised
  • Good communication skills
  • Confident in presenting complex information in a clear and concise manner
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Excel (Essential)
  • Knowledge and experience using Power BI is desirable
  • Knowledge of fraud and counterfraud systems such as SIRA is desirable
  • Display a good understanding of the insurance industry and the data we process
  • Ability to work to deadlines
