Techniche Global are supporting a well-established prototype electronics manufacturer in Andover with appointing a Stores Person.

You will run all aspects of the stores facility, including receipt, put away, pick, kit, de-kit and cycle count of componentswithin a busy electronic stores department.

Compare identifying information on incoming or outgoing shipments with purchase orders, invoices or other documents. other documents.

Basic Salary:
£23,000pa


Working Hours:
Monday to Thursday: 8:30am-5pm

Friday: 8:30am-3:30pm,

PRIMARY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain accurate inventory balances with respect to identification, location, and quantity of all production materials within the storage areas. Performance rating based on accuracy levels.
  • Responsible for adhering to daily cycle count schedules.
  • Prepare and administer the operating system 123Insight, Cycle Count, and Kitting per published procedures and schedules. Maintains department database, prepares routine reports, and files shipping/receiving records.
  • Receive and ship all components/production materials within 4 working hours of arrival on receiving stock.
  • Deliver items to requisitioning departments and obtain authorised signatures for accepted items.
  • Responsible for loading and unloading supplies and equipment; may operate company vehicle to deliver shipments; may assist in routine maintenance of equipment and shipping area.
  • Coordination of the despatch process to include operating system 123Insight, documents, certificates and transportation to support both the return of components to suppliers and also the delivery including export of products to and on behalf of company customers.
  • Work closely with the Stores Supervisor at company House to ensure stock accuracy and maintenance through physical and system stock movements.
TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE/QUALIFICATIONS
Essential

  • Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent to include English and Maths.
  • MRP Systems and computer literacy with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Previous experience of working in Stores within a manufacturing environment.
  • Understanding of batch control.
Desirable

  • Full valid driving licence.
