We are looking for an enterprising, experienced and highly motivated individual who shares our enthusiasm for regenerative and low carbon agriculture.

Soil Capital is a mission-driven company with long expertise in regenerative agriculture and low-carbon transition of agricultural systems.

Operating internationally, Soil Capital's ambition is to accompany farmers in the transition of one million hectares to more profitable and regenerative agriculture by 2025.

We have developed Europe's first certified carbon payment programme for farmers, called Soil Capital Carbon.

It allows farmers to measure and certify their carbon footprint each year, while valuing their reduced carbon emissions and/or increased soil carbon storage on the carbon markets.

Agricultural and food companies use Soil Capital Carbon as a transition tool to engage their farmers in a certified low-carbon approach and build new value opportunities through the development of certified low-carbon value chains.


Soil Capital Carbon is supported by mySoilCapital, a farmer and partner portal that collects, processes and delivers data so that farmers and partners can implement better regenerative and low carbon agriculture.

**Roles and responsibilities

In this frontline sales role, you will play a central part in our growing eight-person sales team to build our market presence for Soil Capital Carbon in the UK.

You will have immediate responsibility for selling our carbon payment programme directly to farmers in the UK as well as to aligned partners that wish to take the programme to their own farmer clients, ensuring that it becomes the reference programme in this market.


You will have the following responsibilities:

  • Conversion of inbound leads into a target number of closed deals, in line with our expected conversion rate, via daily and d irect engagement with interested farmers
  • Representation of the business and our offer at relevant agricultural events and fora
  • Prospection, establishment and ongoing management of partnerships with aligned entities such as agronomy, farm business advisory and other firms in the agricultural value chain that wish to take the programme to their own farmer clients
  • Identification and implementation of ideas to improve the efficiency of our sales and marketing systems, processes and materials
  • Systematic capturing of customer feedback for improvement of our offer
  • Smooth integration with our Operations team throughout the sales cycle
**Skills, qualifications and abilities

We are looking for a natural team player who has the proven ability to work independently to achieve specific goals.


The following characteristics are most important:

  • Proven track record of leading successful sales activities targeting British farmers and firms that support them; experience conceiving and delivering marketing campaigns a plus
  • Exceptional educational, advisory and persuasive communication skills in English; French or other European languages a plus
  • Experience of the metrics, systems, processes and mindset required to sell large volumes in as automated a manner as possible; experience with HubSpot a plus
  • Intrinsic farmerfirst, customer satisfaction attitude; personal agricultural background a plus
  • Deeply motivated by scaling regenerative agriculture and a n atural fit with a fastgrowing and entrepreneurial business culture
