Salary from £23,994 to £28,229 depending on skills & experience

The Opportunity


To work within the Investment Programme Management (IPM) team to provide administrative and document management support services for the Cadent NW Design team.

Ensuring that the business processes and office systems are effectively operated, and that informationis controlled and recorded in a manner that fulfils Cadent's commercial, regulatory and capability development responsibilities.


Key accountabilities will also include:


  • Provide administrative support and assistance as required to maintain an efficient and effective service that contributes to the achievement of the departmental objectives
  • Prepare work files and all supporting documentation, coordinate and support information enquiries
  • Perform active document control activity and ensure document exchange is taking place in a timely and effective manner between IPM team and selected stakeholders (e.g. CMO and other departments)
  • Compile, maintain, evolve and implement management information trackers as necessary to inform the control of productivity and delivery progress
  • Manage the exchange, control and recording of information relating to the design and deployment of asset management workstacks
  • Participate in the development and testing of business requirements for asset information management systems (e.g. CtrlHub, SharePoint and DMS)
  • Acquire and share document management knowledge and experience with the existing Design team to empower them support effective information management
  • Support the training of staff where appropriate to ensure consistency of approach and compliance with standard processes and procedures

What You'll Bring

  • Experience of delivering document management and control in an externally focussed commercial and technical environment
  • Competent in the uses of standard Microsoft and other standard desktop Packages
  • Ability to use computer systems, general office facilities, photocopier, etc.
  • Good communication skills and a demonstrable ability to interface with stakeholders internally and externally
  • Excellent time management and ability to prioritise workload in order to meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to work efficiently alone and as part of a team

Qualifications:


Essential:

  • Educated to HND or equivalent qualification;
  • Computer literacy. MS Office expertise

Desirable:


  • Knowledge of geospatial information management and systems, e.g. ESRI
