Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a
Team Leader to join our team. You will be reporting to our Production Manager, supporting our operatives and assisting in the manufacture of plastic blister and tray packs and contract packaging to fulfil customer's orders, based at our site in Hadleigh, Suffolk

Key Responsibilities:

Ensuring health and safety standards are met
Ensuring that a safe and clean working environment is always maintained
Escalation of any safety, quality or production issues in their area
Supervising operatives and work/role allocation of team members
Overseeing quality control ensuring all production achieves the highest quality standards in line with the company's quality procedures ensuring all necessary documentation and labelling etc. is completed and records maintained
Ensuring you always adhere to company procedures and rules and follow both verbal and written instruction
Ensuring all production is carried out in accordance with specifications
Ensuring all manufacture is completed in a timely fashion within the given timescales to meet the required delivery date
Ensuring all company documentation is completed, end of day reporting and records maintained in accordance with the company's procedure
Work can involve manual handling

Skills & Competencies:

Experience leading a team or managing processes, ideally gained within a production/manufacturing environment.
Strong communication skills both written and verbal
Good attention to detail
Ability to work quickly and accurately
Ability to use initiative

Monday to Thursday 7.30am to 4.00pm/Friday 7.30am to 3.00pm - no weekends
