Job Summary:

  • Headlining our ambitious growth agenda is the Borough's largest residential led mixed use development at Meridian Water where our aspiration is to deliver upwards of 10000 new homes and 6000 jobs alongside a new public open space, shops, community facilities and a new railway station.
  • Our ambitions don't end there as we are already in early discussions on several major regeneration schemes across the Borough including proposals for Enfield Town, Brims down, Edmonton and Southgate to deliver new highquality mixed use residential led development which meets the modern housing and employment needs of our residents.

Sample of Key Duties/Accountabilities:

To process planning appeals and prepare / coordinate the Council's submissions to the Planning Inspectorate as well as represent the Council at Informal Hearings,

  • To support the Council in its Development management function in providing a quality service to its customers and residents of the Borough.

Essential Experience Required:


  • A good understanding of development management including permitted development and associated planning legislation will be importance, but further training opportunities will be available to enhance your skills and experience.
  • You will have excellent customer focus and be able to demonstrate confidence in dealing with applicants and their agents, Councillors, and residents.
